When we get weather like we have today, there is no way to avoid thinking about taking advantage of our close proximity to the water. That means boats. We realize all of these pictures aren't of recreational boats. You get the idea, though.

Sixteen boats were burglarized over the weekend in a boatyard off McPherson Drive near Innocenti Park. Beverly Police said the suspects cut through the shrink-wrap covering the boats with a knife and took a hat and one radio. Police said break-ins are common at this time of year.
