It's a year again as the Wicked Pissahs skated to their second consecutive Boston Derby Dames championship. About a thousand fans from all walks of life, young and old, gathered at Wilmington's Shriners Auditorium for a 60-minute battle on wheels over three periods. An excitement hung in the air like the delicious aroma of popcorn, dogs, and beer.

This event sounds freaking crazy, even crazier than Sxip's Hour of Charm, and that was a grand old time. "Titler" will host a show featuring Red Peters from "Howard Stern," comedian Shane Mauss, and the Yo-Yo People, who do exactly what you think they will do. The Beehive, 10 pm-midnight. Cheap Thrills Boston has an interview with "Titler" in which you hear what the guy is all about.

Dear Ask Bostonist, I have two out-of-town friends (NYC and DC) who are visiting me next weekend. They are all excited about being in Boston for St. Patrick's Day, but every time I venture out of the 17th in Boston, I don't seem to have a good time...very long lines, cheesy bars (Purple Shamrock, anyone?), or just a skeleton crew is left. Any suggestions where I can take them on St. Patty's Day after work?...
