--Saturday night is supposed to be a time of fun and relaxation, but some people just don't get it. Last night, at a party on Bowdoin Street, someone fired a gun, and two people were injured. It could have been worse. One of the bullets entered another house, almost striking two boys inside.
The legislature may not be in session, but someone out there is still trying to get a message across to lawmakers. Frankly, we're not sure exactly what the message is, but its placement on a sign on Bowdoin Street right across from the side entrance to the State House suggests a political motive.
When, like Bostonist, you keep your hair very very short, it is easy to “let yourself go,” at least inasmuch as coworkers and friends start calling you “shaggy” even though your mane is nowhere near the average for clean-cut Bostonians. This was the condition we found ourselves in last week when we stumbled upon the Capitol Barber Shop, a quaint-looking little affair across from the State House on Bowdoin Street.
