The crossing’s warning system was activated 39 seconds before the train reached the crossing, and warning gates were down when the accident took place, the T said. --The last thing we need, especially with a presidential election coming up, is for someone to add fuel to the flag-burning debate. On Thursday, someone in Natick destroyed a solar-powered trash container by stuffing it with American flags and setting them on fire. The person who did it must be trying to offend as many people as possible - the left by wrecking an environmental device, and the right by burning flags. We are all...
--Looks like someone's parents aren't gonna be happy when they get home. Teenagers in Falmouth got busted last night for a party that was impressive in size and scope. Police are thinking he was "killed elsewhere and dumped." The DSS might be in trouble in...

The Globe also reported that the "turnout at today's event was better than expected." The war has been hitting Massachusetts directly. Keith Callahan,...

The not-so-secret secret that a ride around the lagoon on a swan boat on a steaming New England afternoon is a great way for a tourist to feel comfortable or a Bostonian to feel nostalgic for childhood when they first climbed aboard the bike pedal style powered boats. The Swan Boats launch every May and are taken out of the water and stored at Labor Day – USA today reports, via the AP, that the...
