A cracked windshield forced a United Airlines flight from Boston to Chicago to make an unscheduled landing in Buffalo this morning. Flight 881 carried 176 passengers and landed without incident at at the Buffalo Niagara International Airport. According to the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority, "There was no problem with decompression, no problem with passengers, and the plane landed safely." [Globe]

Recently a couple Bostonists took a trip to Chicago. Necessarily, this trip involved many visits to many different bars and pubs, as what better way is there to truly understand the heart (and stomach) of a new city?
