The Globe says that a broken water main has shut down Congress Street (northbound) between State Street and North Street this morning. WBZTV has video. Water service in the area has not been interrupted, and there is not yet damage to surrounding buildings. The cause of the break is unknown. Workers hope to have it repaired by this evening. Be careful if you're driving in the area... or just try not to drive in the area. more ›
