We've mentioned the greatness of Dorado Tacos in Brookline previously, but we didn't know they had a liquor license (apparently it just happened). To celebrate its newfound booziness, the restaurant will be offering free chips 'n salsa with beer purchase during Sunday's Pats game. Beer choices include Bohemia, Corona, Pacifico, Negro Modelo, and—incongruously—Sam Adams. Go Pats!

We visited Dorado Tacos & Cemitas in Brookline earlier this year, and enjoyed the experience. Now a little email tells us the restaurant has "Mexican Coke" on offer: a nice addition for those who freak out over the uniquely flavored drink (the drink is typically sweetened with sugar, as opposed to high fructose corn syrup, in Mexico). Tacos Lupita in Somerville is the only other restaurant near Boston we've heard of consistently offering the beverage.
Brookline is certainly not lacking in Mexican food, and with the opening of Dorado Tacos & Cemitas one week ago, the pool of offerings has gotten richer, not more crowded. The restaurant, located in JFK Crossing on Harvard Ave, is bright and sunny, with a focus on high quality ingredients and eco-friendly materials.
