The Herald reveals that good ol' Danny G. drives to work each day in his MBTA-owned SUV. At least the SUV is a hybrid--but it's still more environmentally damaging than public transportation, not to mention a burden on taxpayers. MBTA manager Grabauskas drives from Ipswich to Boston daily when he could take his own commuter rail instead. He argues that he needs the flexibility to go anywhere at anytime.
