Not sure how many of you have had reason to walk along the Charles recently, but the banks (especially on the Boston side) are lined with ducklings and goslings--all of which make fantastic Animal Wednesday photos. They are tiny, fluffy, relatively slow moving, and extremely cute. We're enjoying this one, which was actually taken in the Public Garden, for its relative simplicity and shallow depth of field. more ›

Boston police found Pack, the bronze duckling who had been swiped from the Public Garden, safe and sound on Beacon Hill, the Globe reports. Pack was not the first duckling to disappear from the public art work, and he probably will not be the last. Nonetheless, he has not been turned into crack rock, despite the sensationalistic claims of some news outlets. more ›
