Just north on Route 1 in Saugus lays Kowloon Restaurant, a gaudy landmark entertaining people with Asian cuisine for years. Primarily filled with an Polynesian/Easter Island look, Kowloon is best described as eclectic. The front lobby is filled with pictures of past celebrities that have visited Kowloon over the years, most of who are no longer celebrities.
