Binge drinking, piercings and missing curfew..ah, the life of a high school student. Now the most recent story about high schoolers in the Bay State includes 5 varsity hockey players, a 15 year-old girl, and a prep school that has educated the likes of James Taylor and Sen. Edward Kennedy. Milton Academy is in the center of a sex scandal that allegedly occured in their boys' locker room, where the female student supposedly gave one of the boys a "birthday gift" of oral sex. This story broke on Friday when local police were notified of the event, which happened on January 24. All 5 boys were expelled from the school, which has some parents in an uproar. The girl has been placed on "administrative leave" indefinitely until more interviews are completed. Under state law, the boys could face charges since the girl was under 16, even if it was consensual, which police believe it was. This story has remained at the top of the media's attention this past weekend, possibly because of the good reputation of the academy, which costs $32,725 a year and was founded in 1798. Oh and a good sex scandal is pretty popular with viewers too. more ›
