In a highly scientific study, the often useful BostonTweet named Emerson and BU the most active local schools on Twitter. The study was conducted by asking people who tweets the most. Makes sense, we suppose. Emerson students, grads, and profs pulled out their self-promotion skills to tie for the top spot. Tufts got a fair number of mentions, and a few people pointed out that Suffolk is on Twitter as well. We're a little surprised that high-tech MIT isn't the Massachusetts Institute of Twitter, but maybe the folks over there have some real work to do. Comedian Mitch Fatel can't wait to come to Boston after receiving a great reception at his first foray into town last year. This time Fatel will be taking over the beautiful Wilbur Theatre for two shows this Saturday night (7:00pm & 9:45pm).
