A bright spot after the various scary episodes on the Green Line--MBTA General Manager Dan Grabauskas has announced improvements to a few bus lines in the city effective Saturday, December 29.

WHDH Channel 7 reports that a bus slammed into a bunch of parked cars at Sullivan Station in Charlestown yesterday afternoon. Luckily, the cars were empty. Unfortunately, the bus was not.

A few weeks ago, Bostonist learned from the ever-awesome (but annoyingly blocked at our office) Boingboing that some clever individual had taken a map of the Tube in London and replaced all the station names with anagrams. We immediately set to work making a Boston version, but some enterprising fellow by the name of Dan Lin beat us to the punch. His map is awesome, though not for those who disapprove of curse words or suggestive phrases. Some of our favorite remixed T stops: Fields Corner = Scorned Rifle; Ashmont = Ham Snot; and Harvard = Yale (not an anagram, we know, but funny nonetheless).
