ABC's FlashForward seemed like a perfect storm of TV, ideally crafted with big stars and big explosions to form a show the likes of which hasn't been seen since Lost went on hiatus. But we forgot to watch for a few weeks and haven't been able to start up again. Here's why we're done with FlashForward.

We've mentioned Fringe's fanatical power in the past, but we didn't stress the existence of the Observers, who watch over bizarre events in a mysterious fashion.
Tonight's the night fall television takes its first tenuous, unsteady steps. Ungainly, it will stumble-- only to right itself-- and make its way, eyes shining, into the deepest crevices of your heart.
Lost triumphantly returned to television this week, turning even the most composed fans into shuddering masses of confused jelly. Questions abound—is Locke really dead? Who wants Aaron and why is he so important? Can Sawyer not wear a shirt for the rest of the season, please? It would be easy to write off work or school and just re-watch the show from the beginning, hopelessly taking notes and trying not to freak out over polar bear sightings. This, however, would be a mistake. Instead of wasting time on the black hole that is Lost fandom, why not try another J.J. Abrams show, Fringe?
