If the crocuses and unexpected sunshine haven't clued you in, robbery suspect Timothy Flaherty, 51 of Lawrence, has provided further evidence that spring is upon us. Last night, after allegedly robbing a victim on Beacon Hill, Flaherty led police on a wild chase through the Common and the Public Garden before diving into the Frog Pond Lagoon to elude capture. (We assume that it looks much bigger in the dark.) Police surrounded the pond......

We're playing a little game we call "what's Tommy's name not on?" The Zamboni that smoothes the ice at the Frog Pond? It's on there. The welcome sign to Boston? It's on there. The toothbrushes the Boston Public Health Commission distributes? It's on there (and happens to be absurdly huge.) The Boston Convention and Exhibition Center? Yeah, that's it. Menino's name does not adorn the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center is not yet called......

Deval's hours old administration has stepped up and already thrown the switch quick putting the updated website live. It has only been a matter of hours since the Patrick administration has officially been the "Patrick administration" and the mass.gov website is dripping with the new governor and lieutenant governor's names. The top news story on mass.gov is an announcement of the inauguration providing a link to the new page devoted to Patrick/Murray, no longer Romney/Healey.......

Menino's got himself a redesigned website, a city-sponsored podcast, and his name on everything from the Zamboni at the Frog Pond to the (ähts) festival this weekend. But the Globe noticed that there are a few fakester profiles up on myspace of Menino. Mumbles Menino appears with an animated gif of his stock headshot talking. One of the best text representations of a Menino phrase on the myspace page is "Posston Mazzuhchewsits" we can almost......

Bostonist was exposed to Boy in Static (Alex Chen) a mere four weeks ago thanks to the wonder of our favorite online photo gallery (and oh so much more) Flickr. Ever since that moment we have been listening to his album on late night drives home to the suburbs, in the lingering hours of a night of studying (yes, some of us are STILL in school), and just generally whenever we get a free......
