Girl Talk returns to Boston on Saturday, February 26 for a 7 p.m. show at the House of Blues on Lansdowne Street in Boston after the free release of his fifth album, All Day, in November on Illegal Art. Girl Talk is Gregg Gillis and has been creating a collage of samples for almost a decade, culminating, to date, in 71 minutes of All Day. Girl Talk's previous effort, Feed The Animals, sparked a lot of interest in Gillis and his musical stylings. He toured a lot and developed a more involved show. The show isn't just a replay of his albums, as Girl Talk's show, according to the New York Times, evolves in real time. Girl Talk got around recently, performing at the Vancouver Olympics, Coachella, Bonnaroo, and Lollapalooza, and Australia, Japan, and Mexico. more ›
