Music is always an important part of St. Patrick’s Day in Massachusetts. Of course the Dropkick Murphy's are in town and will be rocking the House of Blues in Boston tonight and tomorrow. The Tinker's Son in Norwell features a whole weekend of Celtic music with Dublin Free Press on Friday and Devri on Sunday. The Irish Cultural Centre in Canton has U2 tribute band The Joshua Tree on Friday. Senator Jack Hart's big moment in the St. Patrick’s Day celebration comes Sunday at the St. Patrick's Day Breakfast in South Boston. It’s time for school to start again and for the gazillions of students in Boston that means two things: it’s time to do everything on the cheap and it’s time to get drunk. There is absolutely no reason for you to be seen on your porch with a giant, flimsy box of Natty Light, High Life, or… sigh, Pabst. Remember: no matter how much PBR you drink, you will never achieve the working-class-guy-on-a-lawnmower look you so desire, got it?
