Former Red Sox lefty Bill Lee is going to the Hall of Fame. Well, his hat is. The hat Lee wore when he pitched for the Brockton Rox on September 5 of this year is headed to Cooperstown. Lee was 63 when he pitched that day, becoming the oldest man to play in a baseball game. [WCVB]

It's been a while since Red Sox fans invaded Cooperstown (you are going to invade Cooperstown, right?). Orioles fans and Cubs fans and Cardinals fans and the Padres fan have gone to honor their own (Ripken/Sandberg/Smith/Gwynn, respectively) in recent years, but it's been a while since a lifelong Red Sox player was immortalized.
On Monday night at 8:00pm, December 15th, you can see comedian Steven Wright receive the honor of being the first inductee of The Boston Comedy Hall of Fame. The event will take place at Showcase Live at Patriot Place in Foxborough, which is technically not in Boston, so we're hoping for some jokes about that.
