Harvard University’s Hasty Pudding drama troupe surprisingly, to us, named Jay Leno as its Man of the Year. Leno will get his pudding pot on February 4 and will be properly roasted by the Hasty Pudding crew.

Hasty Pudding Theatricals has announced that Anne Hathaway will receive the 2010 Hasty Pudding Woman of the Year award. Hathaway, 27, will be honored with Hasty Pudding's annual Cambridge parade and roast extravaganza on Jan. 28. She will join Renee Zellweger and Charlize Theron as the latest Hasty Pudding women. The HP Man of the Year 2010 has yet to be announced.

Not to be outdone by Charlize Theron, who is being honored by the A-list Hasty Pudding, Paris Hilton continued to cut a wide swath through Boston when she was at The Estate. In fact, she garnered attention by dancing on a coffee table. With Oompa-Loompas. And then she showed her boobies.
Don't forget about the other famous female celebrity in town for a Harvard-related event. Today, Charlize Theron sat perched in a convertible as part of Harvard's Hasty Pudding Parade. She looks graceful, like the anti-Hilton:
The Hasty Pudding, the filet mignon to the Harvard Lampoon's ground chuck, has announced the recipients of its Hasty Pudding award. This year, Charlize Theron is Woman of the Year, and Christopher Walken will be Man of the Year.

Scarlett Johansson was honored as the Hasty Pudding Theatricals Woman of the Year today in Cambridge. She was cause of more traffic snarls in the Harvard Square area than the icy road conditions yesterday's storm brought. The festivities began with a parade through the streets of Harvard Square followed by a roast at Agassiz Theatre and a press conference, both on Radcliffe Yard. Being the Year of the Woman 2.0 (madam speaker Nancy Pelosi, madam president - to be, of Harvard - Drew Gilpin Faust, and madam presidential candidate Hilary Clinton) it's fitting that Scarlett received Hasty Pudding's golden Hasty Pudding Pot on what was once the campus of Harvard's sister institution, Radcliffe, now part of Harvard as an Institute for Advanced Study. Hasty Pudding's permanent home in Harvard Square is still under construction and is expected to be finished soon, but not before Ben Stiller comes to Cambridge to receive his award, so for the second year in a row the pudding pot was awarded to the Woman of the Year at the Agassiz Theatre rather than the Hasty home base.
Last year Hasty Pudding Theatricals, the student group at Harvard, brought Halle Berry and Richard Gere as honorees. Berry's parade route through the streets of Cambridge was a bit different than it had been for honorees past, the gentle handshake Gere was given just took place somewhere else. The change happened as The Pudding had been displaced from their quarters at 12 Holyoke Street for the first time since 1888. Construction on the site...
The chaos started when Halle Berry's motorcade showed up - preceded by a massive truck full of photographers and cameramen. (And followed semi-patheically by a car carrying "Miss Massachusetts", whom everyone seemed to be ignoring.) Bostonist was, sadly, relegated to standing in a snowbank, but caught the action nonetheless. In our humble opinion, the Hasty Pudding boys stole the show, with a close second going to the free coffee caramel tapioca pudding they were handing out.
