Whatever the roster will look like this fall, it looks like we'll still have the same guy in charge of things. Despite speculation that he'd go home and spend more time with his kids, Doc Rivers will coach the 2010-11 Celtics, saying, "I want another crack at it with this group." "This group", right now, is KG, Rondo, Baby, Perk, and Rasheed Wallace's earthly form. And Doc'll have to do it without Tom Thibodeau, the power behind the throne for the last two Finals runs. But we're glad he's staying.

We suspected it would happen, but it's official. Kendrick Perkins will miss Game Seven, not because of technicals, but because he tore both his MCL and ACL when he wrenched his knee last night. Yes, the same thing that knocked Wes Welker out for the Patriots' brief playoff run. Perk wants everyone to focus: "I don't want anybody to feel sorry for me...it's not about me. It's about winning the title." This means Rasheed Wallace will probably get the start with big Big Baby minutes off the bench. Hopefully, Perk will have to temporarily put off surgery and recovery because he'll be needed for a large civic event this weekend.
Unfortunately it looks like it is going to rain on our plans to photograph the Head of the Charles races on Sunday. The chance of rain is at 70% and has gone up since the last time we checked.
This Sunday is the 3rd Sunday of the month so it's time for our 2nd Bostonist Photo Walk! We will be strolling through the beautiful North End where the aroamas of coffee and fresh baked breads fills the air.
