Delays in telephone lines, Internet and television service for Verizon customers were allegedly caused by sabotge to cables in the Northeast. Almost 6,000 Bay State Verizon workersare on strike, along with 800 in Rhode Island. Service was disrupted in Tewksbury and Billerica as a result of one such cut cable.
