Bostonist Interview: Comedian Mitch Fatel - Appearing at The Wilbur Saturday

Comedian Mitch Fatel can't wait to come to Boston after receiving a great reception at his first foray into town last year. This time Fatel will be taking over the beautiful Wilbur Theatre for two shows this Saturday night (7:00pm & 9:45pm). You've had a chance to see Fatel on all the late night shows, Conan, Letterman, Leno, and has had a special on Comedy Central, but we particularly have loved his appearances on "Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist".

Rob Vassegh of Cheap Thrills Boston sent Bostonist an interview he did with the amazing Titler, who will be performing tonight. For more about getting your kicks in Boston on the cheap, go to Cheap Thrills Boston.

This event sounds freaking crazy, even crazier than Sxip's Hour of Charm, and that was a grand old time. "Titler" will host a show featuring Red Peters from "Howard Stern," comedian Shane Mauss, and the Yo-Yo People, who do exactly what you think they will do. The Beehive, 10 pm-midnight. Cheap Thrills Boston has an interview with "Titler" in which you hear what the guy is all about.

Even though the guys who held up the "Iron My Shirt" sign during a Hillary Clinton campaign speech were determined to be pranksters from Boston station WBCN, people are still pissed at Adolfo Gonzalez Jr. and intern Nick Gemelli from WBCN's "Toucher & Rich" show.

Let's take a look back at a week that raised this Zen koan: if Kevin Federline got into a wrestling ring with a wrestler, who would you root for? Austinist was in an entertainment state of mind as they covered the dickens out of the Austin Film Festival, depicted all the Big 12 football coaches as South Park characters, and interviewed Jose Gonzalez. Chicagoist talked about the passion as they bid adieu to Bell's...

About a year ago the Boink release party ended with the police showing up, responding to a complaint of underage drinking they closed the party down. So not that type of booked. BU students boinked Harvard and scooped up the book deal. Last year the buzz around town was that Boston University was going to rival Harvard and release a sex magazine. Ok, ok, so it wasn’t BU’s sex magazine, it was a pornographic magazine that just so happened to be edited by a BU student and feature quite a few scantily or less than clad BU students. It may have been racier than the “H-Bomb: Harvard’s Magazine About Sex” (not to be confused with h-bomb.com) and called itself porn but it still wasn’t Penthouse. Boink, the self-declared “College Guide to Carnal Knowledge” is set to release another issue this month, but it seems the real money is in the publicity for this one. A book deal about the magazine has been reached with Warner Books, with a reported six-figure advance.

Stern also told Belichick that he would take him to Scores, his favorite strip club in NYC, next time he's in town visiting. Bill said he'd "like that a lot." Before hanging up with Howard, Bill said it was a "thrill" to be on the show. This man just coached his team to a third Superbowl title in 4 years and being on the radio was a "thrill"? Surprised again?
