Army sergeant Joan Duran, 24, of Roxbury, died in Iraq. A report on Fox 25 said that Duran was on his second tour of duty and was scheduled to get out in two months. He attended Boston Latin and joined the Army right after graduation. He was based out of Fort Bragg.
