On Saturday, dozens of artists donated their music and time to Farm Aid (now in its 23rd year) for its first concert in New England, held at Great Woods Tweeter Center Comcast Center. Judging from historical data, over a million dollars were likely raised to provide support to America's family farmers and promote their survival on various fronts.

After more than two decades, the annual Farm Aid concert will finally arrive in Massachusetts on September 20 at Great Woods Tweeter Center Comcast Center. The showcase, usually held in the Midwest and the South, has been creeping up the coast--the past two concerts were held in New Jersey and New York.

It's not often that a musician can, with one letter, slam both a presidential candidate and an former bandmate. But apparently Tom Scholz is out to remind us that he's not your average longtime bassist rocker. Scholz, of Boston (the band) fame, recently sent a letter to Mike Huckabee to express his "shock" and displeasure over the politician's use of the Boston song "More Than a Feeling."

Political junkies have divided the last few months between obsessing over Iowa and New Hampshire and complaining about how much energy is wasted obsessing over Iowa and New Hampshire.
