Eight businesses in Easton face a possible three-day suspension of their liquor licenses after allegedly selling alcohol to minors during a police sting operation. Five restaurants and three liquor stores reportedy sold alcohol to minors last month, the most since selectmen started checking two times a year in 2004. Guidelines for such stings are made by the state Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission. The town must advertise checks in advance. [Brockton Enterprise]
