-- A 15-year-old Dorchester boy pleaded not guilty today to charges that he shot a woman in the face. The boy and a 17-year-old accomplice allegedly attacked a group of three women, and a 5-year-old girl, who were walking through Franklin Field, beating one woman in the face and beating another woman to the ground before fleeing and returning with a gun, which the 15-year-old allegedly used to spray the women with bullets, striking one in the face. A pooch named Choochy evaded Logan staffers for 17 hours and delayed eight flights yesterday after fleeing her plane and taking over the runway. The dog apparently escaped from her crate inside the plane's cargo section, then ran out on the tarmac after the doors were opened. Choochy's flight landed a little after 7pm Saturday, making for a dark and difficult nighttime hunt for the dog. She was eventually bribed into captivity Sunday afternoon with that most magical of treats, dog food. No word on how much more poopy the poodle might have made Logan during her reign.
