Harwich Police are investigating a suspected violent assault and rape after finding an unconscious woman in the Wishing Well motel on Main Street in Harwich. The woman, reportedly in her 40’s, was allegedly raped on Friday, the day she was hospitalized. The motel owner saw the victim unconscious and having a seizure on the floor in the room. -- Two men allegedly robbed a store in Somerville Monday. One suspect from Somerville donned a mask, grabbed a knife and carried out the stick up. He was reportedly a regular customer and recognized despite the mask. The second suspect, from Cambridge, remained at the scene, posed as a witness, and gave false information to police officers. Both men were arrested at the perp's dwelling later that day, where cops found 10 stolen parking meters. [Somerville Journal]
-- A couple of drunks stabbed and robbed a Harvard student this weekend, authorities say. The two men, 24 and 26, accosted two victims on their way home from a party at Harvard's Eliot House early Sunday morning. After swiping the victims' wallets, the suspects stabbed one man in the chest, according to police. He survived the attack. [Cambridge Chronicle]
