--A man from Marblehead was arrested in connection with Wednesday's killing of 21-year-old Wesleyan University student Johanna Justin-Jinich. Stephen P. Morgan was taken into custody outside a convenience store in south Meriden without incident after asking a store clerk to call police. Morgan was reportedly targeting Jewish people. [WCVB]

-- More details have emerged in the fatal shooting Saturday of a 22-year-old Roxbury man. Authorities revealed that the victim was Cheickoumar Kake, a Roxbury native who had just returned to town after living in Maryland. Kake was a resident of the Academy Homes apartment complex, where he was killed during a community cookout. Though police have been investigating a gang beef between groups based in Academy Homes and the nearby Bromley Heath housing complex, investigators have not called the killing gang-related. Kake's uncle denies that his nephew was involved in the gang. One Academy Homes teenager was quoted in the Globe saying, "There's definitely going to be a war here in the summer." [Globe]

-- Cambridge is the sort of place where even burglars dress to impress. Police say that a 22-year-old Cambridge man broke into a house on Brattle Street aroudn last Friday, dressed in a suit and tie. The man allegedly broke a window, opened the front door, and made his way to the second floor bedroom, where he passed out. He was arrested soon afterward, and police do not report that anybody came to harm. [Cambridge Chronicle]
