Initially excited by the promise of ½ liter pitchers of sangria for 5 dollars and 5 dollar margaritas, we were delighted to find a prix fixe menu that provided a decent showcase of what this fabulous restaurant has to offer.

On Thursday, April 2, this Bostonist had the pleasure of attending this year’s Taste of the Nation Boston event at the Hynes Convention center. Managed by Share Our Strength, a non-profit organization dedicated to ending childhood hunger in America, this year’s Taste of the Nation Boston boasted the presence of more than seventy of Boston’s finest restaurants, over forty wineries, and Bombay Sapphire drinks galore. To put it simply, this event is foodie heaven.
Ah, Valentine’s Day. So much on the line for the hopeless romantic looking to impress a date. Screw it up, and you’re toast. Luckily for you, Bostonist comes with a bit of cocktail advice today. Let's face it: tapas can be an expensive endeavor. Everyone shares a variety of small plates, each costing anywhere from $6 to $18. It's lots of fun to try tons of different dishes, but the cost of the little plates can add up fast. At Masa in the South End, however, tapas in the bar are a much more economical night out.
