The Massachusetts Port Authority board voted on some new policies and benefit packages yesterday. The group approved changes in the sick leave accrual policy and reduced the medical benefit for new employees. Until now MassPort paid 100% of the healthcare premium for their employees, the new policy will require new employees to pay 20% of the policy's premium.
