While Mitt Romney might be hugely relieved, Boston NBC affiliate WHDH put a little (D) by Idaho Senator Larry Craig's name when replaying portions of Craig's Tuesday night interview with Matt Lauer: One can only imagine what Democrats would have to say about that: "Nuh-uh! He's not one of ours! No thanks!" Most likely someone in the WHDH control booth was sleepy, and they figured Craig was a Democrat because Romney's not friends with him......

--In Framingham on Tuesday night, a robber used Devil Dogs as part of his strategy when stealing from the Stop & Shop. Emanuel Goffigan got into line and "began waving" a pack of Devil Dogs. Then, when the cashier opened the drawer of her cash machine, he pounced on it, got the money, and ran. Every time he’s out in public the Patriots’ owner Robert Kraft has one of those blue button down shirts with the white collar and cuffs. Bostonist appreciates this look only on men who have grey or white hair. Tom Brokaw was able to pull this look off, but we wouldn’t think of asking Matt Lauer or Brian Williams to attempt it.
