The Celtics had a chance to win last night. The Minnesota Timberwolves lost to the Memphis Grizzlies, for crying out loud. They could have taken this one. And they almost did, were it not for sloppy play in the last moments that put the ball in the hands of former Celtic Ricky Davis, who nailed a shot with 0.2 seconds left and helped the T-Wolves beat the Celtics 109 to 107, continuing the Celtics' 18-game......

The Celtics lost their 17th straight game. On the bright side, Paul Pierce was back on the court. On the downside, it didn't help. They lost 92 to 78. It would have been okay if the game were somewhat close, as many of the Celtics' losses have been, but this should have been closer.
