State Police arrested a Centerville man and seized $125,000 worth of Oxycontin pills during a traffic stop on Tuesday. The suspect had 4,200 Oxycontin pills in his 2001 Chevrolet Corvette. He struggled with police after the pills were found. The Herald said charges include assault and battery on a police officer and possession of a Class B substance with intent to distribute. The former general manager of WHDH-TV is now also a former advertising executive at WPEC-TV (West Palm Beach) after being arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest on Sunday at a restaurant. Police said Randi Goldklank was "intoxicated and doing inappropriate acts" prior to being arrested. The restaurant called 911 because Goldklank was allegedly "touching herself, removing her top, and dancing on a pole like a stripper" and wouldn't leave. An officer reported her speech was slurred and that Goldklank warned he would be on the news because she worked for a TV station. Goldklank was arrested at Logan Airport in 2008 for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest and the case was continued without a finding. She resigned from WHDH. [Globe] more ›
