Don't even think about last night's chokefestloss in Baltimore again. It was so June. There's another game today that, hopefully, will feature Beckett being Beckett - 7-1, 1.94 ERA last 10 starts. And, the bullpen can get a second straight day off.

Filmed before a live audience last December at Boston's historic Wilbur Theatre, comics from both Boston and around the country converged to bring NESN's audience, which is pretty much everybody, their hilarious take on life and sports in particular in the second season of "NESN's Comedy All-Stars".

According to NESN, Red Sox commentator Jerry Remy will take an indefinite leave to recover from the cancer surgery he underwent last fall. Remy hopes that his experience with lung cancer will discourage others from smoking. He appreciates fans' concern.

One positive thing we can say about last night’s Sox game was that Manny hit his 502nd career homerun. The Sox imploded last night, losing to the Orioles 6 -3 at Camden Yards. If losing to the Orioles weren’t bad enough, it was also announced that David Ortiz will be placed in the disabled list with a torn wrist sheath.

--The Turnpike Authority is giving you a choice: Bitch about traffic during the day while they do roadwork, or pay up for it if it gets done at night. [WBZ]

--House speaker Sal DiMasi has put the Ethics Committee to the task of investigating the alleged threat against Rep. Jennifer Callahan. The words "State House" and "Ethics Committee" sound funny when put together, don't they? [Boston Globe]

Tina Cervasio, the former NESN sports reporter with the rear that caught the eye of Jonathan Papelbon and broke Surviving Grady's heart is back! Boston Sports Media Watch says she is now on the MSG Network.

Tina Cervasio, whose aerodynamic behind put Papelbon in a state of awe, is leaving NESN at the end of March. Wailing and gnashing of teeth ensued, as New England--not to mention players--were besotted with Cervasio.
