If you're stuck in a North Korean jail, and Bill Clinton or Jimmy Carter come walking through your cell's door, you are going home. Just ask Aijalon Mahli Gomes, 31, of Mattapan, who was released by North Korea on Thursday to Carter after being in prison there since January. Gomes faced eight years of hard labor in North Korea after entering the country illegally. He is due to return to Boston today. Carter traveled there as a private citizen, with the knowledge of President Barack Obama's administration.
