The big movie news this week was the rock-bottom ratings for the Oscar telecast. People just didn't tune in. Maybe it was the fact that the big movies weren't money-makers, but do the masses really expect the Academy to nominate Spider-Man 3 for an Oscar? The Harvard Crimson ran a short story in Friday's edition of the paper on the Harvard Radcliffe Science Fiction Association's (HRSFA) performance of an abridged "Julius Cesar." The students performed on the steps of Memorial Hall and employed bed sheet togas and umbrellas as costumes. The Crimson reports that turnout was low, but the student group considered it a success.
