A rawkus weekend of college basketball culminated last night — the Duke @ UNC cliffhanger, Ohio St. beating Illinois, Mizzou beating Kansas — a weekend that included our Boston College Eagles running over Rutgers on Saturday night for the 78-66 win. That victory clinched the Big East conference regular season title for the Eagles. Even though they finished tied with the almost-always dominant University of Connecticut, they won the conference title as a result of the win they had over UConn earlier in the season - their only matchup in this regular season.
