Donald Rumsfeld made a triumphant visit to Boston to sell his book at the Old South Meeting House last night. For some reason, people chose to heckle the former Secretary of Defense. He's selling a book which means he's going to treat everyone to a favorable review of the Bush administration's execution of the War on Terror. He also talked Iraq, a totally different issue than fighting terrorism. One woman attempted a citizen's arrest - true - and held a pink sign that read "War Criminal." Bostonist was recently flying back to Boston on a plane full of British teenagers, who were coming to Massachusetts to work at a summer camp in the western part of the state. Most of them had never been to the U.S. before, and they were all marveling at the same thing: the gigantic sodas they bought at the airport’s Burger King and the concept of free refills. The usual smatterings of self-promoting conference topics were presented.
