Sorry about the title, we just couldn’t refrain from using a pun in Boston’s English. The show’s been open for just over a week now on its stop in the Hub as part of the 2006 tour. We’ve only heard positive reviews. It actually seems like everyone Bostonist has run into this morning went to see Wicked over the weekend. The snippets of commentary include: "costumes were great", "sets real good", "what’s the deal with the dragon?," "some of it made more sense in the book," "every time there was flying it was like OMG" (seriously, someone used o – m – g abbreviation in speech), "they could have done the monkeys better," "that part when they were all in green – spectacular." Ok, so that’s the story, in brief. Wicked is playing through May 14 at the Opera House and tickets are still available for some performances.
