--This is borderline blotter and definitely dumbass. A South Boston high school set up a shooting range for its students. The shooting range is for Junior ROTC students and is in the basement at Monument High School. According to the Herald, "A school employee notified the Herald about the practice after seeing two teenagers firing weapons at targets without supervision or warning signs in a locked classroom in early December."

--An alleged Bad Seed brought out the "Never a Good Idea" line from the BPD, and this time they wrote, "Disrespecting Mother Never a Good Idea." On Thursday in Roxbury, a 13-year-old suffered a case of hormones from hell. She was, according to the report, "swearing and throwing objects" at her own mother, and she kept on with that behavior when the police arrived at the scene. (The 13-year-old is allegedly not the sharpest tool in the shed.)
Bostonist heard about the menacing incident on Marlborough Street between Fairfield and Gloucester. On Thursday, March 24 at 1 pm, a woman was screaming because she had been attacked. She was visiting from New York and was unloading her car. With a 5 month-old in tow and her purse on the trunk, a man approached to snatch her purse. She tried to grab it but he got it and when she went for her kid he slugged her in the chest. On the ground, the thug brandished a huge ginsu knife and took off.
Bostonist reported last Monday on a rare display of civility in Massachusetts politics. We also predicted that in no time at all, that civility would end. Well, we were right.
