With President Barack Obama slated to visit Boston on March 8 for a Democratic fundraiser, the time seemed right for Governor Deval Patrick to raise his national poltical profile. He did just that by confirming plans to start a federal political action committee in order to raise money to travel around the country and campaign for President Obama in the 2012 election.
