Someone shot two kittens with a pellet gun, killing one and blinding another one. The incident happened in Worcester on Thursday, and is being treated at the Weymouth Landing Cat Clinic and Hotel. Veterinarian Deborah Lindsey removed the lead pellet lodged in the three-month old female kitten's head near its jugular vein. She is eating well and walking. The male kitten was put down. The Boston Police Department's School Police Unit confiscated a pellet gun from a 17-year old student at Seaport Campus-for the School for Children on Thursday. The student was questioned by school personnel about the gun, which he then displayed under his shirt and in his waistband. After being disarmed, he threatened staff and students and said “I’ll be back and shoot the school up.” The student was charged with possession of a firearm on school property, threats to commit a crime (murder) and disturbing a school assembly. Five Roslindale residents--with ages ranging from 14 to 22--were arrested after allegedly forcing their way into an apartment building and heading upstairs. After police showed up en masse, one suspect "dropped a bag containing a green leafy substance believed to be marijuana on the head of a detective” from a balcony.
