We're not sure if this resident of 19th century Boston needed thumb picks to play his banjo, but we suspect that he got by without them. How many licks does it take to get to the middle of a tootsie pop? How many photos does it take to see Boston? These are questions we may never answer, but Chris Devers proposes 16 or so snaps looking west to east.
We were looking for a spooky picture in honor of Halloween, and the statues in this shot by Bostonist's own r_dorissa are pretty darn creepy.
