Nothing says America like a giant public pillow fight. The 2011 International Pillow Fight Day was Saturday. Boston's event featured everything from a man dressed as a banana to a flag to Pooh to a flag to Boba Fett.

Today Bostonist joined in the fun as the Banditos Misteriosos organized Boston's International Pillow Fight Day event. With over 2,200 RSVPs this was one of the largest events in the world. A good time was had by all the participants as once again the Banditos were able to pull off a fun, free, family oriented event.
El Presidente of Barstool Sports got a kick out of the Copley Square pillow fight, orchestrated by the Banditos Misterosos. However, it isn't for the reasons you'd think:
Our sources say 400 people showed up to the local action for World Pillow Fight Day at Copley Square, and the fighting went on for a good hour.
