Even though Apple has yet to release the "true video iPod", Bostonist digs the video podcasts. This week, we offer up a gem of a vodcast, Hello the Podcast.

Bostonist isn't the sort to not listen to a podcast just because it is from Compu-Global-Hyper-Mega-Net or, in this case, the Boston Globe. Sure, we dig that podcasting has been a haven for vanguard content, but that doesn't mean the mainstream can't do podcasting right. This week, we take a look at the Boston Globe's Page One Podcast.

It’s opensource courseware – fully streamed content over the web live. If you miss anything check out the archives and download the podcasts and powerpoints.

A little bit of comedy, mixed with political commentary, some pop culture, and interesting interviews. This is exactly what Baratunde delivers on his podcast, the Front Porch Podcast.

Bostonist loves science but does not have the time to read the thousands upon thousands of scientific journals and magazines out there. This is where the Current Science and Technology Podcast proves its worth. A production of the Current Science and Technology Center at the Museum of Science in Boston, helps keep you up-to-date on the latest scientific research, trends, and news.

Accident Hash should be on your radar. If for some reason you've missed this gem of a show then fear no more. Not only has Bostonist felt the need to feature this show, but the equally popular site (is it possible to be more popular then Bostonist?) Podcast Alley is also featuring Accident Hash on their front page. C.C. Chapman has been bringing us this podcast for almost a year now and it easily counts as Boston's best claim to podcast fame.
