The Boston Breakers came away from Saturday night's game with a solid 3-1 victory over the visiting Washington Freedom with goals from Smith, Angeli, and Cheney. In addition to the victory, Puma's Project Pink event helped raise over $7,000 for the fight against cancer. more ›

The Boston Breakers have teamed up with Puma’s Project Pink to help fight breast cancer by holding the first of 5 scheduled matches at Harvard Stadium on Saturday night. Players will be wearing special pink Puma uniforms for these matches which will be auctioned off during the game, and there will be a variety of other pink merchandise available as well with alll of the proceeds going to the Boston chapter of Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. more ›

The Volvo Ocean Race is in town and Bostonist was lucky enough to spend a few days with the Puma Ocean Racing team. We covered the race’s arrival to Boston in a previous article here. Boston, the race’s only North American stop, has been hosting the teams for 2 weeks now at Fan Pier in the Seaport District.
