Massachusetts State Trooper Michael Isom was hit by an alleged drunken driver on Friday morning while working a highway detail on I-93 in Randolph. Isom is 41 and was sent to Boston Medical Center with head and back injuries. Police arrested Leslie Minasian, 47, of East Bridgewater and will be charged with her second drunk driving offense. Edward Washington and Kimani Washington each pleaded not guilty to participating in four murders in Mattapan on September 28. Edward Washington is charged with four counts of first-degree murder and is held without bail. Kimani Washington, 35, of Dorchester pleaded not guilty to home invasion, armed robbery and armed carjacking for his role in September's brutal quadruple murders in Mattapan. Howard Trang, 48 of Dorchester, allegedly barged into the factory with a .45 caliber pistol, shot 52 year-old Gene Dure in the arm and abdomen, and turned the weapon on himself.
