Massachusetts State Trooper Michael Isom was hit by an alleged drunken driver on Friday morning while working a highway detail on I-93 in Randolph. Isom is 41 and was sent to Boston Medical Center with head and back injuries. Police arrested Leslie Minasian, 47, of East Bridgewater and will be charged with her second drunk driving offense. The 11 arrested poeple were from South Boston, Brockton, Randolph, Quincy, and Weymouth. Charges included assault and battery, disorderly conduct, affray, indecent exposure, and resisting arrest. Edward Washington and Kimani Washington each pleaded not guilty to participating in four murders in Mattapan on September 28. Edward Washington is charged with four counts of first-degree murder and is held without bail.
Kimani Washington, 35, of Dorchester pleaded not guilty to home invasion, armed robbery and armed carjacking for his role in September's brutal quadruple murders in Mattapan. Washington was held on $500,000 bail. He allegedly stripped and robbed the victims at gunpoint. [Herald], [WCVB]

-- An MBTA trolley driver who was quietly suspended in May for his role in a crash involving a car full of BC students, including members of the hockey team, in April was suspended indefinitely on Thursday by the T. The trolley driver was speeding, and may face perjury charges over testimony at a hearing. A BC freshman who was driving had all charges against her dropped. She may sue. BC is upset. [Globe]
-- Sean Berte, a former Boston firefighter, was sentenced to eight months in prison followed by three years of supervised release for growing marijuana. Berte had pleaded guilty on February 10[Globe]
-- A man killed himself after shooting a co-worker at the Alloy Fabricators of New England in Randolph this morning. Howard Trang, 48 of Dorchester, allegedly barged into the factory with a .45 caliber pistol, shot 52 year-old Gene Dure in the arm and abdomen, and turned the weapon on himself. Police have not advanced a motive. Dure was taken to Caritas Good Samaritan Hospital in Brockton. No word on his condition. [Herald; Globe]
--While the episode of a BPD officer holding up a Roslindale gas station is still fresh in our memory, two BPD officers are accused of breaking the law. One narcotics detective tested positive for steroids, and a domestic violence detective was arrested for assaulting his girlfriend. Did these two not get the memo? Don't become the bad guys. --Bostonist hasn't seen a "flagrant foul," or a sports-related blotter entry, in some time. The bad situation that was the Super Bowl loss just got worse for New England Patriots defensive back Willie Andrews, who was busted driving an unregistered car and having pot on him in Lowell. If it had happened to anyone one else, on any other day, no one would have cared. But the Herald points out that Andrews has a record. Uh, Not-So-Big Willie Style, anyone?
