The last time the Red Sox were in Cincinnati, they were playing the Reds in the 1975 World Series. That didn’t end in our favor, and neither did last night’s game when the Sox lost to the Red 3-1.

Sometimes, we in Boston take our Sox for granted forget how good we've got it. With a mere 10 days till the Sox open up the 2005 season in New York, it looks like things are starting to come together, at least roster-wise, for the team. By now we all know that Curt won't be pitching on opening day, and instead the ball will be handed over to David Wells. Sure, he might have been completely rocked by the O's in his latest spring training game (11 hits, 6 runs, in a 6-1 loss), but we can only hope that he's just working out the kinks. Please, Boomer?
