The Big Dig began in 1991. 14.8 billion dollars, hundreds of besmirched reputations, and one casualty later, the Big Dig is finally wrapped up. Well, at least officially. We'll be feeling the repercussions for a long time. To borrow a phrase from Rob Corddry's visit to Boston, we've earned our merit badge for corruption. The AP has provided a full timeline of the Big Dig. Bostonist was born in 2005, but we have our fair......

Blades of Glory fills a specific comedy niche - the nuts 'n' butts genre. There's nut jokes, butt jokes, and body-part jokes galore. In a world where there's nothing to do but watch movies. In a city full of theaters, museums, and libraries. One moviegoer who can be in three places at once. This week, Boston's movie theaters offer a variety of giant monsters (fire-breathing turtles, radioactive lizards, skyscraper-climbing apes), smaller monsters (teenagers on myspace, paintball enthusiasts), and a terrifying alternate universe where everyone sings with R. Kelly's voice. Wednesday 4/26 King Kong & Godzilla Triple Feature A......

Do you want to meet The Daily Show's Rob Corddry? (Like Bostonist and Abigal Adams, a native of Weymouth, MA!) Because he's going to be at The Somerville Theater on Friday night along with Brant Serensen, Darren Goldberg, and the ever-funny DJ Hazard promoting their festival film Blackballed: The Bobby Dukes Story. It features Upright Citizens Brigade members and paintball. That's just one of the options that you, gentle reader, have at the Independent Film......
