Christian Nachtrieb was at the Speedo Run yesterday and graciously agreed to let us post some of his pics. He encountered several Santas that we missed, including some lovely reindeer, a ribbon-nippled dude, a Red Sox Santa, and the "tickle my tinsel" man.

We attended the Santa Speedo Run last year, and had so much fun (especially with a certain Santa, ho ho ho!) that we decided to return. Our photography skills may have declined (in part due to frozen fingers), but the fun did not. As we walked down Boylston toward Lir (where the run begins and ends: gotta get liquored up to bear that chill), our main thought was, "It is really fucking cold." But the runners soldiered on, for a good cause: the Santa Speedo Run is an annual benefit for Crossroads for Kids and Bottom Line. Each of the 500 Santas are required to raise at least $250 to participate in the run, making it a display of generosity as well as flesh.
